Our friends at NetSuite have been working with Frost & Sullivan on an interesting white paper discussing cloud technology and the opportunities for small businesses within the Asia-Pacific region. This included 5 key markets – Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Philippines and Singapore.
363 senior executives from small businesses in the region were interviewed – this included business owners, directors and other senior managers.
The findings indicate that innovation is a key enabler for small business growth, with 4 main avenues for growth overall being identified: building closer relationships with customers, introducing new products or services, establishing new sales channels, and expanding overseas.
